Professional Biography

I’m originally from Pearland, Texas and am a proud graduate of Dawson High School (Go Eagles!). I went on to earn my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Texas A&M-San Antonio.

With two years of tutoring experience, I began my journey with Cram Crew before transitioning to independent tutoring. In February 2024, I launched ScoreMore, my own tutoring service, and I couldn’t be prouder of my students’ ability to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.

My Tutoring Philosophy

Teaching and tutoring may seem like the same thing, but many teachers know firsthand that providing each student with the individual attention they need in a classroom setting is challenging. Larger class sizes, the pressure of competitive college admissions, and the time demands of extracurricular activities can discourage even the most motivated students. This is where personalized tutoring makes a difference. One-on-one sessions allow for a tailored approach, addressing each student's unique strengths and challenges, helping them gain confidence, fill in gaps, and build skills at their own pace. I'm driven by the success of my students and take immense pride in helping them achieve their dreams, especially when that includes acceptance to their top-choice colleges. Seeing their hard work and dedication pay off inspires me to continue providing the individualized support and strategies that make these goals a reality.
